At the University of Illinois, I've taught first-year composition and advanced composition for six years. I've also served as an advisor to incoming instructors in the Rhetoric program for two years, assisting a small group of new instructors over the academic year with syllabus and assignment construction, lesson planning, classroom activities, and grading. Additionally, I've worked as a consultant at the University Writers' Workshop.
